Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups regular oatmeal do not use instant oatmeal
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter can use shortening instead
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
Directions
Directions:
Preheat an oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. In a bowl cream together the sugars and butter. In another bowl mix the eggs and vanilla together, then add the creamed sugar and butter. Gradually beat in the rest of the dry ingredients. Using a spoon drop spoonsful of the batter onto a greased baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
